The Carbon Offroad Mega Pro Winch Rope Thimble is a premium 6061 T6 Alloy attachment point. This grants the operator to attach either a soft shackle or a steel D-shackle to the winch rope safely and allows the thimble to be pulled up to the fairlead for easy simple storage of the attachment point. The soft radiused locaters on the back end ensure the thimble is centred on the rope outlet when it is stowed away.

This is an amazing replacement for a steel hook which you have to connect up to a hard point somewhere on your vehicle, the Mega Pro thimble simply makes life easy, it’s lighter weight at only 800g and allows safe use of both a synthetic rope soft shackle or a traditional steel bow shackle. We have incorporated some simple silicon-based buffers on the back end to prevent any damage to your fairlead. The attachment point is a simple loop with a large radius edge and incorporates a flat inner section to spread the load of a steel bow shackle pin. When handling the Mega Pro Winch Rope Thimble, you will find that it fits comfortably into one hand, with no sharp edges, or bolts or spring-loaded components to pinch your fingers. It keeps your other hand free for climbing up that slippery hill.

The shackle has been load tested to over 16000kg and is comfortably able to handle loads up to 10000kg. The pin is secured by an internal circlip.
